Avangard signs Sergei Tolchinsky to contract extension

Avangard Hockey Club has signed Sergei Tolchinsky to a one-year contract extension.

During the previous season, Tolchinsky played 43 games for Avangard and scored 34 (7+27) points.

Alexey Volkov, Avangard General Manager:

- It was important for us to extend the contact with Sergei Tolchinsky. Fans know how passionate Sergei is when he is on the ice, he gives what it takes in every single episode. Those are valuable qualities for us. Probably, last season not everything worked out, but we definitely cannot blame Sergei for being indifferent. He is a highly-qualified professional who is able to decide the outcome of the game. There aren't many players of that kind in the League. We are glad that Omsk fans will be able to see Tolchinsky on the ice of the new Omsk Arena. And we continue to work on the team roster for next season.
