Avangard and Amur make a trade

Avangard Hockey Club has traded defenseman Kirill Spitsenko and forward Daniil Fesenko to Amur for forward Ivan Nikolishin. The Khabarovsk club will also receive monetary compensation.

Nikolishin is signed to a three-year contract.

Last season, the 27-year-old forward played 67 games for Amur and scored 42 (17+25) points.

Anton Kuryanov, Avangard General Manager:

- We continue to strengthen our center group. Nikolishin has made considerable progress over the past three seasons and became the true leader of Amur last year. This is proved not only by stats, but also by his commitment and leadership through action that he demonstrated in every game. Ivan is a well-rounded forward who contributes both offensively and defensively, and most importantly, he really wants to prove himself with our team.

Nikolishin will join the team today. He will be wearing number 11 in Avangard.
