Avangard HC statement

- Avangard forward Vladimir Tkachyov sustained a lower body injury during individual training. Recovery time depends on rehabilitation plan and individual characteristics; by now, Vladimir has been provided medical assistance. Obviously, getting the leader of the team out shortly before the start of the season is very unpleasant. However, there’s no panic; it would do no good in any case. Such situations are part of professional sports, and our sports department is to find an effective solution now. The one that would be the best for the team. We will consult with the management of the club and the head coach; there is much work to do. The club supports Vladimir, wishes him recovery and will do everything possible for him to be back in action as soon as possible.
