Avangard coaching changes
Avangard Hockey Club decided to complete cooperation with head coach Dmitry Ryabykin. Mikhail Kravets was appointed as interim head coach.
Alexey Volkov, Avangard General Manager:
- The situation as it has developed in recent games did not allow us to wait any longer. We thank Dmitry Ryabykin for his work, but it is obvious that the fundamental change has become imminent. Mikhail Kravets has already been in a head job, plus he has been a member of the team's coaching staff, he knows the players and the system. Therefore, it has been decided to appoint him as interim head coach.
