Avangard Hockey Club has signed Canadian defenseman Alex Grant to a contract through the current season.
Grant played for Jokerit, SKA and Barys in the KHL, he totals 248 games, 40 goals and 74 assists.
Grant will be wearing number 20 in Avangard.
