Avangard and SKA hockey clubs have made a trade. Goalie Nikita Serebryakov has joined our team, while goalie Stanislav Berezhnoi has moved to Saint Petersburg.

Serebryakov is signed to a contract through the 2026/27 season. The goalie played for Admiral, Torpedo and SKA in the KHL. He totals 251 KHL games, 95 wins, 92.6 %Sv, 2.38 GAA. Was named the goalie of the year in the 2022/23 KHL season.

German Chistyakov, Avangard HC General Director:

 - Strengthening the goalie group was one of our main goals. Mikhail Berdin continues his recovery, Pavel Khomchenko is having a heavy workload, and we need to get points in every game. Nikita Serebryakov is one of the best goalies in the KHL, everyone remembers his outstanding season with Admiral, when he was called up to the Russian national team, and recognized as the goalie of the year. His performance makes his teammates feel confident on the ice, and it allows the team to create more offensive opportunities.

Serebryakov will be wearing number 54 in Avangard.
