Sergei Belykh resigns as Avangard General Director

Avangard General Director Sergei Belykh will start working for Moscow Spartak Football Club on August 1.

Sergei has spent four years with our club. Avangard thanks the General Director for his dedication and commitment, wishes him much success in his further career and is always happy to welcome Sergei at G-Drive Arena in Omsk!

Sergei Belykh, Avangard General Director:

- I am happy and proud that I have been a part of Avangard during these four years! Winning the championship, returning to Omsk and opening the new Arena are the brightest events for me and the club!

Over these years, an outstanding team of true professionals has been built in the club, they meet challenges of any level of complexity and ensure long-term well-worked development of Avangard.

In no case do I burn my bridges - I keep close contact with the new Board of Directors Chairman, I will help my successor in all areas.

I would like to express my gratitude to all the sponsors and partners of Avangard. Special thanks to the management of Gazprom Neft, the key partner of the club through the years which beyond doubt will keep supporting Avangard.

I wish Avangard to always live up to its name - be an avant-garde club! May there be many wins ahead! In all areas.

- The change of the General Director was no part of our plans, however, we understand that the offer to work for Moscow Spartak Football Club is a big challenge for Sergei. We supported his decision and wished him good luck in the new office.

The plans for preparation for the new season have been developed and approved. The club will continue to aim high! We will decide on the new General Director in the near future and, of course, will promptly make the announcement.
