Linden Vey to join Avangard

Canadian forward Linden Vey is to sign a one-year contract with Avangard. The 32-year-old Gagarin Cup winner spent the previous season with German club Adler Mannheim, scored 46 (8+38) points in 45 games and was plus-9.

Anton Kuryanov, Avangard General Manager:

- We wanted to see Linden with our team before the 2023/24 trade deadline, but Adler Mannheim refused the contract termination and the transfer. Since the forward has fulfilled all the obligations to his former club, nothing prevents him from concluding a contract with Avangard. When summing up the results of the season, we mentioned the areas we want to improve. Vey will add versatility and skills to our center group. He is a highly skilled right-handed center, who has proven his worth through his career, and specifically in playoff games.
